About Me

This is a little more than my profile information would allow, so here it is!

First and foremost, I am a Child of the King of Kings!  When I was 13 years old I called on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!  He came into my heart and saved my soul, and I’ve been saved ever since that blessed day!  Have I lived a perfect life since then?  Absolutely NOT!  My Savior loves me and forgives me many, many times each day.  His perfect Plan of Salvation is great enough to save the even the foulest sinner!

I’m also the daughter of a Great Lady who taught me to be the wife and helper that God has commanded me to be.  I’ve watched my mother give of herself daily—to her husband, to her children, to her own parents, to her coworkers, and even to those she barely knows.

When I was 24 I met Billy, the love of my life!  God is so incredibly good to me!  He gave me a man who is the Spiritual Leader of our home and loves me more than I deserve!  Words can neither describe how thankful I am to God for placing in him my life, nor can they tell my love for this man!

“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife:  and they shall be one flesh.”  Genesis 2:24

After 4 ½ years of wedded bliss, God blessed us again with a precious baby girl who brings joy to our lives daily!   A couple of years later, we were blessed with a precious baby boy!

"For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him!"
1 Samuel 1:27

I enjoy working with our church’s youth choir, playing the piano, teaching VBS, and helping out in the church whenever and wherever I can.  My church family blesses my heart!

“Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.  Amen.” Ephesians 3:21

I’m writing this blog to document my Spiritual Journey.  As I’ve said in other posts, I’m not sure where it will lead or how many topics I will discuss.  I only know that this is the place I’ve chosen to share my heart in hopes that it will help you grow in the Lord!

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  To Him be glory both now and forever.  Amen.”
2 Peter 3:18
